NotesBradford Telegraph and Argus reported a police investigation of suspected arson at the pub on 25 September 2021. A car had been set on fire in the car park, a number of windows at the pub were also smashed and petrol poured ththrough during the incident. "What pub" website dated 30 December 2021 stated that the pub is closed and partially boarded up, which was still the case in October 2024.  On 24 October 2024 a planning application, was verified by Leeds City Council " Demolition of existing building; erection of eight new dwellings on vacant land, including four terraced townhouses, two semi-detached bungalows and two detached bungalows; associated access, parking, hard and soft landscaping works".
